Overview

My contributions to the CHAOSS Community are centred on program, project management and documentation, while actively supporting key initiatives and projects across various focus groups and departments.

  • DEI Badging Project: As the Lead of the Technical Writer’s Focus Group, I spearheaded the enhancement of documentation across repositories, conducted quality assurance, and created actionable issues for improvements.

  • GrimoireLab: Took on project management responsibilities, including issue creation and management using GitHub boards, which improved contributors’ experiences.

  • CHAOSS Education: Wrote and recorded two courses aimed at supporting open-source education for new and existing contributors. One of which was co-written with Anita Ihuman, a developer and open-source advocate.

The program engaged over 40 attendees, resulted in 15+ pull requests, and significant online participation.
